To protect your investment and our turnaround times, we maintain clear boundaries on what is included in our standard packages.

1. Is my website domain name included?

To ensure you maintain full, legal ownership of your business's digital identity, we ask that clients purchase their own domain name (e.g., via GoDaddy or Namecheap). Once you have it, we will handle all the complex technical work to connect it to your new site for free!

2. Do you provide custom email addresses (like hello@mybusiness.com)?

We provide enterprise-grade hosting for your website, but we do not host email accounts. For the best security and reliability for your business communications, we strongly recommend using a dedicated provider like Google Workspace or Microsoft 365. We are more than happy to help you connect your domain to the email provider of your choice during setup!

3. Do you design my logo and brand graphics?

We are experts in high-performance web development and local SEO, so we ask that you provide your existing logo and brand colors during onboarding. If you don't have a logo yet, no problem at all! We can use a clean, elegant text-based design for your website header so you can still launch on time.

4. Can I sell physical products on this website?

Our service is highly specialized for local, service-based businesses (like salons, contractors, and clinics) whose primary goal is generating leads and booking appointments. Because our sites are custom-built for a streamlined booking flow, our packages do not currently support e-commerce functionality, digital shopping carts, or online inventory management.

5. What exactly counts as an "Unlimited Minor Text Edit"?

We want to keep your site fresh and accurate! Included in your monthly subscription are minor, everyday edits such as updating your business hours, changing service prices, swapping out a team photo, or tweaking a paragraph of text. Just text or email us the changes.

6. How long does local SEO take to show results?

Most clients start seeing movement in Google Maps rankings and organic search within 60–90 days of starting. The first month is foundation work — Google Business Profile optimisation, citation building, and technical fixes. Rankings build from month two onwards as Google processes those signals. SEO is a compounding investment; results improve month over month as long as the work continues consistently.

7. What exactly does Google Business Profile optimisation include?

We fully optimise your GBP listing — correct business categories, keyword-rich business description, service areas, opening hours, photo uploads, and Q&A setup. On Local Growth and Local Dominate plans we also manage ongoing GBP activity including post scheduling and review responses to keep your profile active and visible at the top of Google Maps results.

8. What are local authority links and why do they matter?

A local authority link is a backlink from a credible, locally relevant website — local business directories, industry associations, local news sites, or chamber of commerce listings. These signals tell Google your business is a trusted part of the local community. We build 3, 5, or 8 quality local links per month depending on your plan (Starter, Growth, or Dominate). Every link we build is genuine and relevant to your location and industry — we don't do bulk link spam, full stop.

9. What does "technical SEO" mean for a local business website?

Technical SEO is everything that makes your site easy for Google to crawl, understand, and rank. That includes page load speed, mobile-friendliness, proper heading structure, schema markup (the code that tells Google your business name, address, hours, and services), fixing broken links, and ensuring your site is indexed correctly. We run a full technical audit on all SEO plans. Local Growth and Local Dominate clients get ongoing technical fixes included every month — not just a report with a list of problems and no action.

10. Will you guarantee my business ranks #1 on Google?

No — and you should run from anyone who does. Google's algorithm is their algorithm; nobody controls it. What we do guarantee is that every task we carry out — optimisation, citations, link building, technical fixes, reporting — is done correctly, every month, without cutting corners. Most clients move meaningfully up the rankings within 90 days. We show you exactly where you stood when we started and where you are now, every single month.

11. What's in my monthly SEO report?

Every report covers: keyword ranking changes for all tracked keywords (not just the ones that went up), Google Business Profile views and actions, website traffic from Google Search, citations built that month, links earned, and a plain-English summary of what we did and what we're doing next month. Local Dominate clients get weekly updates, Local Growth bi-weekly, and Local Starter a full monthly report.

12. Can I cancel my SEO plan at any time?

Yes. No lock-in contracts. We work month-to-month and you can cancel with 30 days' notice. We'll always do a proper handover — you keep everything we built (citations, GBP optimisations, on-page changes, schema markup). The only thing that stops is the ongoing monthly work.

13. Can I combine an SEO plan with a new website from BookedLocal Studio?

Yes, and it's the most effective way to start. When we build your website we structure it from day one with SEO in mind — correct heading hierarchy, schema markup, fast load times, and conversion-focused page copy.
